Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our veterinary team. This dual-role position provides vital support in both clinical and administrative areas, ensuring smooth operations and excellent care for our animal patients. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with clinical tasks such as preparing animals for examinations, administering medications, and monitoring patient recovery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, kennels, and surgical suites.
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing client payments.
- Greet clients warmly, answer phone calls, and provide information regarding services and procedures.
- Manage pet check-in and check-out processes efficiently to ensure a positive client experience.
- Support laboratory procedures by collecting samples, performing basic tests, and recording results accurately.
- Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, medication administration, and preventive health measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for staff and clients.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred.
- Laboratory experience is highly desirable .
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, with a focus on providing exceptional care.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
