We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machining tools and equipment, ensuring precision and quality in the fabrication of parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to operate portable align boring equipment, portable milling machines, portable facing heads and magnetic drills.
Responsibilities
- Operate machine tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining requirements.
- Operate portable Align Boring Equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Operate Portable Milling Machines
- Operate Magnetic Drills
Experience
- Proven experience as a Machinist
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and technical documentation.
- experience in Field Machining would be an asset.
- Experience with welding techniques is an asset.
- A commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment is essential.

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
