POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a creative, strategic and results-driven Digital Marketing, E-Commerce & Social Media Manager to grow the online presence, audience engagement and digital sales of Bethel Publishing House and Sisterhood Talkshow.
The successful candidate will develop digital marketing strategies, manage social media platforms, support e-commerce growth, promote books and media productions, and build an engaged global audience.
This role requires someone who understands publishing, media, digital marketing, e-commerce and audience development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDigital Marketing & Brand Growth
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for Bethel Publishing House and Sisterhood Talkshow.
- Create marketing campaigns for books, authors, events, programmes and media productions.
- Increase brand awareness, audience engagement and online visibility.
- Develop strategies to attract readers, viewers, authors, clients and strategic partners.
- Monitor digital trends and recommend growth opportunities.
Social Media Management & Audience Development
- Manage approved access to Bethel Publishing House and Sisterhood Talkshow social media platforms.
- Develop and maintain content calendars.
- Coordinate publishing of content across digital platforms.
- Engage with online communities professionally.
- Analyse audience behaviour and identify where the strongest audience opportunities exist.
- Conduct audience research to understand:
- Where audiences are located.
- Which platforms they use.
- What content creates engagement.
- What strategies increase conversions.
- Build campaigns that attract and grow a loyal audience.
E-Commerce & Online Sales Support
- Manage and maintain book listings across approved e-commerce platforms.
- Coordinate book uploads and updates with the Publishing & Editorial Manager.
- Ensure online product information, descriptions, categories and promotional materials are accurate.
- Monitor online sales performance and recommend improvements.
- Support campaigns designed to increase book visibility and sales.
- Work with internal teams to improve the customer purchasing experience.
Publishing & Media Marketing
Support promotion of:
- Bethel Publishing House books.
- Author interviews.
- Book launches.
- Sisterhood Talkshow episodes.
- 40 Days in the Wilderness programme.
- Media productions and events.
Work closely with:
- Publishing & Editorial Manager.
- Publishing Project Coordinator.
- Executive Producer.
- Graphic Designer.
- Business Development Manager.
- Operations Manager.
Analytics & Reporting
Provide regular reports including:
- Social media growth.
- Audience engagement.
- Website performance.
- E-commerce performance.
- Campaign results.
- Marketing opportunities.
- Recommendations for improvement.
FIRST THREE-MONTH PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
During the three-month trial period, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Establish effective digital marketing systems for Bethel Publishing House and Sisterhood Talkshow.
- Develop audience growth strategies.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns.
- Support promotion of priority publishing projects.
- Support marketing preparations for 40 Days in the Wilderness and Sisterhood Talkshow Season One.
- Improve digital visibility and audience engagement.
- Manage e-commerce updates and promotional campaigns.
- Demonstrate measurable progress through analytics and reporting.
Successful completion of the trial period may result in extension to a twelve-month employment agreement.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, Media Studies or related field.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in digital marketing, social media management, e-commerce, content marketing or related fields.
- Experience or strong familiarity with book publishing, media, creative industries or digital content businesses.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital campaigns and audience growth strategies.
- Experience analysing digital performance and audience behaviour.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT

- Previous marketing campaigns.
- Social media management experience.

- Brand promotion work.
- E-commerce or digital sales campaigns (where applicable).
