Job Overview
Urban Touch Painting is looking for an experienced interior painter to join our small professional team on a part-time basis.
We specialize mainly in residential interior painting in Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Mississauga and surrounding areas. Our work includes painting walls, ceilings, trim, doors, hallways, stairways and other interior surfaces.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of professional painting experience, strong brush and roller skills, and understands the importance of proper preparation, clean workmanship and respectful service inside clients’ homes.
We are primarily looking for a part-time employee, but experienced subcontractors and retired painters are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings, trim and other surfaces for painting
- Fill holes and cracks and complete minor drywall repairs
- Sand, caulk and spot-prime as required
- Apply paint using brushes and rollers
- Produce clean cut lines and smooth, professional finishes
- Protect floors, furniture and surrounding areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Clean tools and the job site at the end of each workday
- Work respectfully and professionally in clients’ homes
- Follow instructions and meet Urban Touch Painting quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional interior painting experience
- Strong brushing, rolling and cutting-in skills
- Experience with residential painting projects
- Knowledge of surface preparation and minor repairs
- Must have basic painting tools, including brushes, rollers, extension poles, putty knives, a caulking gun, hand tools and a suitable step ladder.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well with a team
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Able to work Monday to Friday during daytime hours
Professional painting experience is required. Please do not apply unless you have at least 5 years of interior painting experience.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
