Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The type of work will vary as we do custom residential, commercial, radiant heating systems and service.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Assemble and install various plumbing fixtures and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for moving materials and equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in assembling plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with heavy lifting techniques for transporting materials safely.
- Familiarity with power tools used in plumbing installations and repairs.
- Basic carpentry skills are a plus for related tasks on job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all work performed.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
