This position reports to the Mine Maintenance General Foreman.

Key Tasks:
Develop, implement, and manage diesel emissions testing program. Including planning, scheduling, and conducting emission tests.
Assist in improving asset reliability. Including analyzing asset history, identifying common failures and top bad actors. Using reliability techniques, work with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to mitigate or eliminate these failures.
Develop and implement a ‘best practice’ lubrication program. Responsible to collect, analyze, and create actions with the lab results.
Would be required to Supervise hourly employees and service providers as required.

Ability to work safely, maintain a safe work environment, communicate issues, and take corrective actions when issues arise.
Must possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Able to read and understand technical prints and documents.
Able to get a Supervisors certificate.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft products.

Valid Journeyperson certificate or technical diploma/degree.
Background in maintenance and asset reliability is not required but beneficial.
