Summary
We are seeking a skilled Upholster to join our team in Grande Prairie. This role is vital in delivering high-quality upholstery services that reflect our commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of providing tailored upholstery solutions.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble fabric or leather materials to upholster furniture, boats, and other items.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Repair or replace damaged upholstery components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, shop clean up and dealing with clients.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Use woodworking skills for frame repairs or modifications.
- Lift heavy items safely to assist with installation or assembly.
- Follow safety protocols and company standards at all times.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in upholstery or related field.
- Strong Upholstery skills.
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools proficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills.
- Warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
