Are you passionate about technology and interested in building a career in networking and cybersecurity? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Network Operations team, supporting mid-sized enterprise clients throughout Western Canada.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience deploying and supporting workstation environments while developing skills in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations. You'll work on a variety of projects, assist with client deployments, travel to customer sites, and collaborate with experienced technical professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support and maintain client computers and devices
- Install and configure software and applications
- Troubleshoot workstation, network, and connectivity issues
- Help set up remote users and VPN access
- Monitor system alerts, logs, and backups
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Manage and update support tickets
- Assist senior technicians and network analysts with onsite installations and projects
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or certificate in Information Technology or a related field (required)
- 1–2 years of IT support experience
- Experience supporting Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and VLANs
- Interest in networking and cybersecurity, with a desire to develop technical skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Valid Canadian driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites when needed
Nice to Have
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification
- MCSA, Windows certifications, or equivalent (including retired Microsoft certifications)
- Experience with endpoint security tools, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices
- Networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA (or working toward them)
Any experience with the following vendors would be an asset:
- Fortinet UTM appliances
- Ruckus / Brocade
- Juniper
- Checkpoint
- VMware

- Ability to learn and adapt to changing environments
- Ability to adapt with changing client requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Applicants must have held a clean, valid Canadian Driver's License for a minimum of five (5) years.
- Applicants must be able to provide proof of continuous Canadian automobile insurance for a minimum of five (5) years
- You must be able to work inhouse with our team, remote work is not available
- Ability to work onsite with clients
