Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Job Overview:
- As an AI & Data Analytics IT Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and advancing enterprise-wide analytics and AI-driven solutions that support strategic and operational objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technical professional to lead the development of innovative data architectures, AI capabilities, and advanced analytics platforms that transform complex data into actionable business insights.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and enterprise architects, you will provide technical leadership throughout the full solution lifecycle, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing AI and data solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and technical delivery of complex AI, data, and business intelligence initiatives aligned with enterprise strategy and technology roadmaps.

Provide technical leadership and guidance across multiple programs and projects, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, risk management practices, and delivery excellence.

Govern and approve AI, analytics, and data solution architectures to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security requirements, and industry best practices.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable AI and analytics solutions that deliver measurable value.

Design, validate, and optimize secure, reliable, and high-performing analytics architectures that meet operational, performance, and service expectations.

Develop and maintain AI and analytics data models, including AI agents, data marts, and data structures that support advanced reporting, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives.

Design and oversee data integration frameworks, pipelines, and processes to ensure effective data transformation, quality management, and loading across platforms.

Support implementation, deployment, and operational activities through technical documentation, knowledge transfer, stakeholder engagement, training, and issue resolution.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to enhance analytics, AI capabilities, and enterprise data management practices.

Promote best practices in data governance, responsible AI, security, and compliance throughout the solution lifecycle.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in AI, analytics, data architecture, or related technology roles within large and complex organizations.

Minimum 5 years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.

Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and database technologies, including relational, NoSQL, and NewSQL platforms.

Demonstrated experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), model lifecycle management, and Responsible AI practices.

Advanced knowledge of modern data and analytics platforms, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, cloud-based analytics solutions, ETL/ELT frameworks, big data technologies, and Power BI.

Experience designing scalable and resilient data platforms that support high-volume, complex, and diverse datasets.

Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to align business objectives, product strategies, and technical solutions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience working within regulated environments and addressing governance, security, compliance, and risk management requirements.

Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.

Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and MLOps practices.

TOGAF, Databricks Data Engineering, Databricks Machine Learning, Azure, or related professional certifications are considered an asset.
