Job Description
OK Tour is looking for an experienced Commercial Transport Mechanic / Diesel Vehicle Mechanic / Heavy Duty Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting our commercial passenger vehicles. This position may be part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate’s availability and our vehicle maintenance needs.
Vehicles Serviced
The mechanic will work on the following vehicles:
- Ford F-650
- Freightliner M2
- Ford E-450
- Ford Transit
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles, diesel vehicles, or heavy-duty trucks
- Experience working on vehicles such as Ford F-650, Freightliner M2, Ford E-450, and Ford Transit
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Knowledge of engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, cooling systems, exhaust systems, and general commercial vehicle maintenance
- Ability to identify problems accurately and complete repairs safely and professionally
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Valid CVIP Inspector’s Certificate
- Experience with commercial passenger vehicles, shuttle buses, or tour buses
- Own mechanic tools
- Own or have access to heavy truck repair equipment
- Mobile mechanic capability
- Experience preparing vehicles for CVIP inspections and related repairs
Main Duties
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Service and repair brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, exhaust systems, and drivetrain components
- Inspect vehicles to support safe commercial operation
- Identify required parts and repair procedures
- Assist with CVIP inspection preparation and inspection-related repairs
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Schedule
This position may be part-time or full-time.
Work schedule can be arranged based on vehicle maintenance needs and the mechanic’s availability.

Hourly pay will be determined based on:
- Relevant experience
- Certifications
- CVIP Inspector qualification
- Ability to diagnose and repair independently
- Availability of personal tools and heavy truck repair equipment
Pay Range: $70–$150 per hour
