Financial Controller
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Financial Controller to lead our company's financial planning, management, and growth initiatives. The Financial Controllerwill oversee all financial activities, develop long-term financial strategies, and ensure the organization’s fiscal health aligns with its overall business objectives. This executive role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of corporate finance to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Duties
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s business goals and expansion plans.
- Oversee all accounting functions, including account reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and provide insights for cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets and ensure financial stability.
- Drive business development efforts by identifying new revenue opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships.
- Negotiate contracts, financing arrangements, and other key agreements to optimize financial outcomes.
- Lead a team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to financial services regulations and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions, auditors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership and the board of directors to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate finance, accounting, or related roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Minimum 5 years of senior financial management experience within the hotel/hospitality industry.
- Experience in the automotive dealership industry is required, with a strong understanding of dealership accounting, floorplan financing, manufacturer incentives, inventory management, and operational reporting.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful deal-making.
- Expertise in sales strategy development and business development initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of risk management practices within financial services industries.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tools.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire teams and influence organizational change.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
