About Boboto Care
Boboto Care is a warm, growing perinatal care collective providing personalized overnight newborn and postpartum support to families across Toronto and the GTA.
Our families trust us during one of the most intimate seasons of their lives, so we are intentional about the professionals we welcome onto our team. We look for practitioners who are experienced, dependable, nurturing and confident caring for newborns independently overnight.
We welcome applicants from a variety of professional backgrounds, but hands-on newborn or infant experience is required for every applicant.
About the Role
As an Overnight Newborn Care Specialist, you will provide calm, attentive in-home support while parents rest and recover.
Typical shifts are 8–10 hours, most commonly 10 PM–6 AM or 8 PM–6 AM.
Responsibilities may include:
- Overnight newborn and infant care
- Newborn Care and Postpartum Healing Education
- Bottle feeding and bringing baby to parents for breastfeeding
- Burping, changing, soothing and settling
- Following safe sleep practices
- Tracking feeds, diapers and sleep
- Bottle preparation and washing
- Light household tasks: meal preparation, laundry and tidying
- Supporting parents with gentle newborn education and reassurance
- Communicating important observations at the end of each shift
This is primarily a newborn and postpartum support role, not a general housekeeping position.

- Career Nannies with 7+ years of professional childcare experience

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Significant hands-on newborn , infant care and postpartum support experience
- Infant CPR and First Aid certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong professional references
- Reliable transportation within your selected GTA service area
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Food handlers (preferred)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 40km to clients homes
we may also request proof of professional registration, student enrolment, certifications or liability insurance.
All practitioners complete an interview and screening process before being introduced to a Boboto Care family.
This is an independent contractor opportunity, making it a great fit for professionals or students looking to add meaningful, flexible overnight work to their existing schedule.
