Rollstamp Manufacturing is an auto trim parts supplier to all of the major OEM's Rollstamp has Paintline, Stamping, Injection Moulding, Toolroom and assembly functions. Currently there are over 800 full time employees working at Rollstamp at multiple locations.

Major Responsibilities
Responsible for the purchase of all production raw materials, subcomponents, subcontractor services and MRO supplies.
Maintains Rollstamp’s Approved Supplier List, Union records, and all Blanket Purchase Orders and/or amendments related to these purchases.
Investigates new vendors, products and services to reduce cost and improve quality.
Negotiates material pricing, purchase contracts and Long Term Agreements.
Facilitates the supplier selection and evaluation process for all suppliers.
Responsible for month-end performance reporting of indirect suppliers.
Types, checks and verifies accuracy of information on Purchase Orders (compared to the purchase requisition). Separates and distributes Purchase Order copies.
Responsible for entering all new or amended information in Rollstamp’s Computer System (indirect purchases only), to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the System.
Support Continuous improvement activities (internally and externally).
Obtains current Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and NAFTA Blanket Certificates, annual Profile Questionnaires, CTPAT/PIP Security Questionnaires etc., from suppliers.
Investigates and reports on supplier’s claims of obsolescence.
Reconciles and approves contentious invoices from suppliers, freight carriers, Custom Brokers, etc. Issues debit/credit notes as appropriate.
Promotes, develops, expedites and tracks supplier continuous improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Initiates Supplier Requests for Quotation and Market Testing activities.
Prepares and maintains documentation / desk procedures specific for the Senior Buyer position including all system-specific procedures.
Comply with Section 28 of the OHSA.
Maintains work area according to the applicable Housekeeping Standards.
Adhere to all rules and regulations as outlined in the Rollstamp Employee Handbook.
Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures.
Cooperates on special projects assigned by the Purchasing Manager and any other reasonable request made by Management.
Knowledge and Education
Post secondary education or equivalent.
Automotive manufacturing background and familiarity with TRANS4M (an automotive MRP System).
Work Experience
Minimum of five years purchasing experience required (PMAC enrolment preferred).
Skills and Competencies
Automotive manufacturing background and familiarity with TRANS4M (an automotive MRP System).
Familiarity with personal computers and Microsoft software.
Excellent negotiation skills, organization skills and English communication skills required (verbal and written).
Work Environment
Will be working in a manufacturing environment. There may be times you may be required to enter the plant area. Noise and temperature levels may vary. Proper PPE must be worn.
