We're a small independent restaurant with a collaborative culture and a close relationship between the kitchen and service teams. Every member of our team plays an important role in shaping the guest experience and contributing to the success of the restaurant.
The Role
We're looking for a Front of House Supervisor / Manager to join our leadership team.
This is a hands-on floor leadership position for someone who loves hospitality, enjoys working closely with guests and kitchen staff, and takes pride in creating exceptional dining experiences.
The role combines service leadership, team development, and operational responsibilities. Approximately 85-90% of your time will be spent on the floor serving guests and leading service, with the remaining time focused on scheduling, ordering, training, and administrative duties.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading service and supporting the team during lunch and dinner service
- Serving guests while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards
- Hiring, onboarding, training, and developing front-of-house team members
- Creating staff schedules and managing labour costs
- Supporting a positive and professional workplace culture
- Managing guest feedback and resolving concerns with care and professionalism
- Ordering front-of-house supplies, including liquor and paper products
- Maintaining service standards, operating procedures, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Supporting guest communication and restaurant marketing initiatives
- Assisting with private dining experiences, special events, and community partnerships
- Ensuring compliance with all liquor, health, and safety regulations
- Working closely with the culinary team to deliver a seamless guest experience
Who You Are
- You have a minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a quality-driven restaurant environment
- Previous supervisory or management experience is considered an asset
- You are passionate about hospitality, food, wine, and guest experience
- You are calm, confident, and professional under pressure
- You lead by example and enjoy mentoring and supporting others
- You are highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- You have strong wine knowledge; WSET certification or equivalent experience is considered an asset
- You have experience with cocktail, beer, and beverage service
- You hold a valid Serving It Right certificate
- You are available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
