Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook shawarma meat using traditional methods, ensuring consistent flavor and presentation
- Handle food preparation tasks such as marinating, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering to food safety standards at all times
- Serve customers efficiently with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and managing food service flow
- Monitor food handling procedures to ensure safety, freshness, and quality of all dishes prepared
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs
- Follow all health regulations and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, customer-focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to Middle Eastern cuisine or shawarma is a plus
- Kitchen experience within the food industry that demonstrates reliability and attention to detail
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
