The successful candidate will need to be available Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 am and 4:30pm primarily and could be some weekends as well.

As a Guest Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Responsibilities:
- Cleans and services assigned guest rooms, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, in a timely and organized manner in accordance with set standards and procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Completely clean up to 16 guest rooms within the designated time in accordance with Company standards
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
- Reports any rooms unable to be serviced within appropriate time standards to the Housekeeping Manager
- Reports needed repairs or any unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Manager or Housekeeping Manager
- Report any accidents or injuries
- Reports any unusual or suspicious persons/activities to the manager
- Maintains linen cart and supplies in a neat and organized way in compliance to standards
- Responsible for removal of linen from the floors to the laundry department
- Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies
- Reports lost and found articles left behind to the Housekeeping Manager or Front Desk in a timely fashion and secures these items at the end of shift
- Welcomes and acknowledges guests and responds quickly to their requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintains a professional appearance by wearing provided uniform and name tag
- Ensures security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel
- Follows company policies and procedures
- Remove garbage and recycling from all guest rooms and properly sorts it to be placed in recycle totes
- High dust, low dust, surface clean
- Vacuum all carpeting areas of the hotel that is assigned
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, carry, push/pull, bend at knees and waist
- Reach overhead and below the knees. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods of time
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Ensure sufficient supplies are available to complete tasks required
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Follow all Hotel and Housekeeping policies and procedures
- Ability to multi-task with excellent time-management skills
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and customer relations
