Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Part-time Bartender to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Manage POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, preferably as a bartender or server
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal requirements
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating a positive guest experience
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
