Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Red Seal Heavy-Duty Mechanic. This position will be based out of our Calgary shop.
Responsibilities, include but not limited to:
- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintaining paperwork as required by legislation
- Monitor the safety and efficiency of equipment
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions
- Adjusts equipment and repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems with direction.
- Source parts and supplied as needed
- Schedule maintenance
Requirements:
- Experience with Heavy Equipment (Peterbilt, Kenworth)
- Able to pass Pre – employment drug screening
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Capable of performing physically demanding duties such as: heavy lifting, working underneath trucks, working in cramped or awkward positions, climbing on/off units, getting in/out of units, working long hours if required
- Able to work alone and on a team
