Group Fitness Instructor

Curtis Health is seeking a Yoga, Pilates, or Group Fitness Instructor to support our corporate client facility in Richmond, B.C.
As a member of the Curtis Health team, you will contribute to building healthy workplace cultures by delivering high-quality Group Fitness classes. You will work alongside a collaborative, motivated team that values professionalism, creativity, and continuous growth.

Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, engaging, and professional instructor to lead lunch-hour fitness sessions. The ideal candidate excels at motivating a diverse group of corporate professionals, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and energizing workout environment that fits into a busy workday.
Key Responsibilities
- Class Delivery: Design and lead safe, effective, and inclusive group fitness classes tailored to a corporate demographic. We are open to a variety of format suggestions.
- Member Engagement: Provide a high level of energy and motivation to encourage participation and retention.
- Safety & Modification: Offer progressions and regressions to accommodate various fitness levels and ensure all participants exercise safely.
- Facility Care: Arrive early to set up equipment, greet participants, and ensure the workout space is tidy and professional following the session.
- Communication: Represent Curtis Health professionally in all interactions with client employees and management.
Experience & Skills
- Instructional Excellence: Proven ability to lead group classes with clear cueing, proper form correction, and musicality (if applicable).
- Corporate Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with corporate professionals.
- Adaptability: Comfortable modifying workouts on the fly based on the specific needs or injuries of participants.
- Reliability: Exceptional punctuality and a commitment to the scheduled class times.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Ability to work in Canada
- Group Fitness certification
- Valid First Aid and CPR (Canadian source and with an in-person component)
- Minimum $2 million personal liability insurance
Schedule & Compensation
- Rate: $40-50/class, depending on format, experience and skillset.
- Hours: Mondays, 12:10-12:55pm
