We are a well established Optometry clinic in the heart of Beaumont. We are an independent optometry office and eyeglasses boutique. We are looking for someone to join our fast growing clinic. Job duties would include:
-Spectacle fitting and dispensing: Helping patients in the frame selection process. Staying up-to-date on product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. Adjusting and repairing frames.
-Other duties: This will include greeting and checking in patients, checking their insurance, use of the electronic medical record system in the office. Scheduling appointments and sending out appointment reminders. Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the retail point-of-sale system.
Requirements:
-Licensed Optician or Student Optician (currently enrolled) - Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred. Experienced contact lens fitter is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- Familiarity with medical billing, medical records, or aseptic technique is an advantage.
