Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology products and excel in providing exceptional customer service. The Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and driving sales through effective communication and merchandising skills. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Assist customers with product selection, upselling, and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain merchandise displays and ensure the store is clean and inviting
- Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new products, and store policies
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods
- Uphold phone etiquette when handling inquiries via phone or online channels
- Manage online platforms such as Uber, Skip the Dishes and Fantuan to promote store products.
- Flexibility to start with night shifts if need be.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or technical sales preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Multilingual skills are desirable for serving diverse customer bases
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Products Suite such as Ms Word, Ms Excel etc.
- Experience with phone etiquette, upselling techniques, and technical product knowledge is advantageous

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
