Equipment Operator — Sterling Ventures
Job Summary:
Sterling Ventures is looking for a motivated Equipment Operator to join our excavation team. We specialize in residential excavation work and retaining walls. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing the job right.
What You'll Do:
- Operate excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment on residential job sites
- Perform excavation for foundations, retaining walls, drainage, and site grading
- Read and follow site plans and grades accurately
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience operating excavators (residential/civil experience an asset)
- Comfortable working around retaining walls, grading, and drainage systems
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices
- Valid driver's license (Class 5 minimum)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
