Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with enthusiasm and genuine warmth, setting a positive tone for their visit
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area to reflect the restaurant’s high standards
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and guest comfort
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Handle guest concerns or complaints gracefully, escalating issues appropriately to management
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices ensures professional interactions at all times
- Experience in hotel or restaurant environments enhances your ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional service
