The successful candidate will report to the Mill Maintenance General Foreman.

Key Tasks:
Execute and supervise the work tasks for the instrumentation department

Maintain a safe working environment by upholding standards, being active and knowledgeable in safety programs and responding to crew safety concerns
Schedule daily work assignments for the crew
Assist in the planning process for the crew
Conduct and document regular safety meetings
Understand and abide by the collective agreement and relevant regulations
Execute cost saving opportunities when available
Maintain a high level of reliability in the area
Technical support for Project Engineering initiatives

Effective engagement and daily communication of work tasks
Good computer skills, including the use of EAM software and Microsoft Office
Organized to develop a daily schedule with minimal break in work
Regular assessment of trade skills and development of training plans

Must hold a Journeyperson certificate in a relevant trade or Engineering degree
Some previous supervisory experience in an industrial environment is preferred
