The Recruitment and Contract Talent Manager will work alongside the Contract Talent Strategy Lead to execute the Advisory growth strategy by identifying and engaging with highly specialized "gig" workers in order to staff Advisory engagements, increase speed to market and provide market and competitive intelligence.
What you will do:
Define the overall contactor experience to ensure the "gig" workforce we engage with aligns and supports our business’ crucial workforce needs
Develop and maintain talent pools, via direct sourcing and proactive networking with targeted talent
Fill contract resourcing needs within very tight timelines (either via KPMG pool, direct sourcing, agency or corporate/ boutique)
Turn prospects into candidates by engaging them and marketing gig opportunities at KPMG
Engage staffing agencies when required and have thorough knowledge of agency specialization
Define an engagement program to ensure contracted talent has a positive experience with KPMG
Act as a brand ambassador for contract recruitment to ensure an excellent candidate experience
Provide regular communication and updates to Leaders, advising on the competitive landscape (e.g. pay rates, talent availability, market intel) and create strategic recruitment plans
Support execution of recruitment events and communications for contractors (developing a contractor EVP, brainstorming targeted strategies, and building contractor loyalty)
Support the onboarding/offboarding efforts ensuring a positive end to end experience for contract talent
Assist with development and implementation of new processes within new VMS/third party management tool
What you bring to this role:
The successful candidate would require 5+ years of experience in:
Knowledge of the “gig” or “temp” workforce environment in Canada along with an understanding of the professional services sector in a Recruitment or HR capacity
Previous experience in an MSP environment either internal MSP or agency
Previous experience with people management or coaching/ acting as team lead in previous or current role
Relationship management and providing guidance in contract recruitment and handling hiring manager expectations
Demonstrated use of effective and best in class sourcing and candidate generation techniques
Strong ability and experience in prioritizing work based on requirements of multiple stakeholders
Experience working with hiring managers, leading intake sessions and overall recruitment strategy with stakeholders
Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
Working with a vendor management system (or CRM / non employee management system)
Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
