Under the supervision of the Sr. Manager Systems and HPS; the Equipment Specialist, Systems Production primary activities include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform in house calibrations and preventive maintenance according to the Systems Calibration and Preventive Maintenance schedules.
Perform unplanned/reactive equipment related maintenance and repairs.
Execute and maintain calibration and maintenance procedures as needed.
Lead or take part in various problem-solving activities, including but not limited to CAPAs and IRs related to calibration and equipment.
Lead or take part in Engineering Changes related to calibration and equipment.
Take part in daily production status meetings.
Lead or take part in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support daily operations for Systems Operations as required.
Provide technical expertise to support Systems Operations and Quality.

Reports directly to Sr. Manager Systems and HPS.
Coordination with the Site Calibration team.
Coordination with the Site engineering group.
Regular interaction with the Systems Investigations and Servicing Supervisor, Systems support staff, Quality Assurance personnel and other support departments.
Care in record keeping and good documentation practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Actively seeks ways to improve current systems and processes.
Ability to maintain focus and professionalism among frequently changing situations, circumstances, and priorities.
Flexible hours as required.

Skills & Qualifications (Education and Experience)
Technical degree in the Electrical or Mechanical field.
Previous work experience with EPOC systems is an asset.
Previous work experience calibrating or repairing electro-mechanical instruments is an asset.
Mechanical and Electrical aptitude and knowledge is an asset.
Excellent communications, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Maintains good housekeeping and proper care and handling of all instruments and equipment.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
