Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery
- Lead, train, and motivate technicians to achieve performance goals and maintain excellent customer satisfaction
- Oversee repair processes, ensuring all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Develop and implement sales strategies to upsell additional services and repairs, maximizing revenue opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience that encourages repeat business
Requirements
- Proven experience with a strong background in automotive or heavy equipment service management
- Extensive mechanic experience combined with solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repairs is an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining transparency and trust
- Experience in sales within an automotive environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts inventory management, and dealership operations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate a diverse team of technicians and service staff
