Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Presser / Finisher to join our team. This role involves ensuring garments and linens are properly pressed, finished, and prepared for delivery or use. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel laundry, cleaning, or related settings, with a focus on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Operate pressing equipment to smooth and finish garments or linens according to quality standards
- Inspect finished items for wrinkles, stains, or defects and reprocess as needed
- Ensure all items meet the company's quality and presentation standards before delivery or storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area and equipment
- Follow safety procedures when handling pressing machines and cleaning chemicals
- Assist with laundry processes, including sorting, folding, and preparing items for distribution
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel laundry, cleaning, or textile finishing is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and pressing tools is a plus
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality control are essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
