Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading materials, digging, lifting, and carrying heavy items.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the assembly, installation, or repair of structures or equipment as needed.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your teammates.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Must Have a clean driving record.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Must be technically inclined and have a desire to learn.
- Means to provide or acquire steel toe boots.
- Prior experience in telecommunications and/or working in the field independently is an asset.
