Lakeland College invites applications for an Educational Laboratory Technician. This position will provide support to the Carpentry, Electrical and Interior Design programs.

Key Responsibilities

Lab preparation

Fabrication of training aid’s

Equipment maintenance/repair, and forklift operation

Accounting/monitoring of the department budget

Working with vendors for the purchasing/receiving of supplies and equipment and inventory control as per Lakeland College policy and procedures

Job Requirements

Grade 12 diploma

Three years’ experience working in the construction industry in addition to having knowledge of inventory control and maintenance

Excellent computer skills

Comfortable to work independently and as part of a team in this physically demanding role

Additional Information

This is a Full-time Permanent AUPE position at the Vermilion campus. The salary range for this position is $58,144 - $73,275 per annum.
