Richelieu Hardware Canada Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler (Countertop Processor) to join our growing team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, building quality products, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.
As a Countertop Processor, you will play an important role in the production of custom laminate countertops while also supporting warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving. We are looking for a detail-oriented team player who takes pride in producing quality work and meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Cut, cap, and build laminate countertops according to customer specifications and quality standards.

Prepare countertop products and materials for installation and delivery.

Operate tools, machinery, and equipment used in countertop fabrication and assembly.

Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including handling incoming and outgoing materials.

Accurately store, organize, and maintain inventory within the warehouse.

Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.

Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or building materials environment.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring, cutting, and assembling products.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to quality.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
-
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and regularly lifting materials up to 100 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Experience cutting and working with wood, laminate, countertops, or similar materials.

Knowledge of countertop fabrication processes and materials such as laminate, MDF, and particle board.

Ability to read plans, drawings, and take precise measurements.

Experience with shipping and receiving operations.

Forklift certification.

Air brake certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
