Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Civil Construction Labourer or Operator and be a vital part of building infrastructure that shapes communities! Your hands-on contributions will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steer, loaders and rigging gear to support construction activities.
- Perform manual tasks using hand tools and power tools to aid in excavation, concrete work, and site preparation.
- Support the safe operation of machinery by conducting routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Help with site cleanup, material handling, and debris removal to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an interest in heavy equipment operation and civil construction processes.
- Experience operating excavators, skid steer, or other heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, rigging techniques.
- Prior experience or training in welding or heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and learning on the job.
- Experience with sewer, watermain & earth works is considered a strong asset.

Pay: From $36.00 per hour
