Resilient Caregivers Facilitator
The Town of Bonnyville - Lakeland Family Resource Network (LFRN) is seeking a dedicated Building Resilient Caregivers Facilitator to join our team. You will play a vital role in planning and delivering programs that strengthen caregivers' skills, confidence, and overall well-being.
Role Overview:
- 1-year Temporary Contract
- Full Time (35 hours per week) Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends to accommodate program delivery.
- Travel within the Lakeland region may be required.
What You Will Do:
- Support & Educate: Facilitate evidence-informed parenting programs and provide one-on-one, intensive support to families navigating challenges.
- Empower Families: Connect families to essential community resources and promote healthy family wellness practices.
- Collaborate: Work alongside community partners, health professionals, and schools to enhance the support network available to families.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: A degree or diploma in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field (equivalent experience considered). Preference will be given to candidates who are trained to facilitate the Triple P Parenting and/or Active Parenting Programs.
- Experience: Proven background in group facilitation and working with children, youth, and families.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of positive parenting, child development, and community support services.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and travel within the Lakeland region.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check may be required.
