Position: Red Seal Roofing Journeyman

The Ideal Candidate
As a member of our Roofing team, you will be installing a variety of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will be:
- Strong understanding of a variety of roofing systems
- Participation in daily hazard assessments and weekly toolbox meetings
- Installation of specialized roofing materials and supplies
- Safely handle and store propane, torches, solvents, and adhesives
- Accuracy and organization in completing site paperwork
- Utilize clear lines of communication and treat others with dignity and respect
- Provide guidance and support to new workers
- Responsible for the safe use of all power tools
- Strong job planning skills and can easily change tasks as needed to complete the job
- Work within safety guidelines, and comply with WCB Safety Regulations
Requirements
- Red Seal Ticketed applicator with major commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO and SBS
- Driver’s license and your own transportation is considered an asset
- Can safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices and/or equipment
- Ability to work at various heights while adhering to safety protocols
- Can perform physical activity on regular basis
- Fluent in the English language and can clearly communicate with supervisors, clients, and co-workers
- Be able to follow and understand safe work procedures
