We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping who are proficient with various accounting software. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of financial data. Duties
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Yardi Breeze
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and company records
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting tasks
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial information
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed for management review
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related roles
- Proficiency with accounting software including Yardi Breeze, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of account reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting principles
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a part-time capacity
- Prior experience with payroll processing is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
