ROLE SUMMARY AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Sales Supervisor, a Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities with a wide range of customers, including Grocery stores, Mass Merchandisers, Convenience & Gas stores, Restaurants & Bars, and other Food Service / On Premise establishments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel, address any issues or concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
- Ordering and Replenishment: Take inventory and place orders for Coca-Cola products, ensuring stock is replenished as needed and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Win Accounts: Evaluate outlet opportunities for new and existing customers.
- Merchandise Display: Arrange and maintain product displays in retail stores, ensuring they are visually appealing and organized to maximize product visibility and sales. Follow company guidelines and store policies to maintain compliance with merchandising and safety standards.
- Stock Management: Monitor product inventory levels, restock shelves, and rotate products to ensure that older items are sold first (first-in, first-out method).
- Product Placement: Strategically place all products sold and distributed by Red Deer Bottling to attract customer attention, increase brand visibility, and drive sales. account.
- Pricing and Promotions: Ensure that pricing labels are accurate, and promotional materials are properly displayed, keeping track of any special promotions or discounts.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about all products sold and distributed by Red Deer Bottling and updates, including new product launches, to effectively communicate product information to customers and store staff.
- Data Analysis and Management: Leverage Company software and applications to Develop customized business plans addressing critical customer needs. Maintain records of sales, inventory, and other relevant data, and report this information to management as required.
- Team Work: Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure revenue and profit goals are achieved and customers served well.
- Physical Requirements: Must be capable of periodically lifting up to 75lbs in a safe manner as directed by Management and WCB requirements. This role often involves heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, so physical fitness and stamina are essential.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and local regulations while performing duties.

IMPORTANT DETAILS
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years selling experience
- Minimum of one year in consumer products, direct store delivery sales, or major account management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient using a variety of computer programs
- Valid driver's license and drivers' abstract
- Post Secondary education is considered an asset, preferably in business related field or sufficient business experience in a similar role.
- Experience in direct store delivery sales and major account management an asset.
Regular Hours
- 7:00 – 4:00 PM
- Hours may vary depending on the day and route
