Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in various construction and renovation settings. This role involves assisting in a range of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Paid Apprenticeship opportunities in a red seal certified trade available after 6 months. Health benefits available after 3 months.
Duties
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
- Assist in masonry work, including bricklaying and stone setting.
- Building scaffold
- Support restoration efforts by preparing sites, removing debris, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Must be able to lift over 80 pounds repeatedly.
- Drivers license and transportation preferred.
Experience
- Previous experience in masonry preferred.
- Paid apprenticeship opportunities available (Red seal certification) After 6 months.
- Health and dental benefits after 3 months
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $26.00-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
