Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be familiar with various shipping and receiving processes.
Duties
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move products safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company software.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure correct quantities are shipped and received.
- Assist with order picking for upcoming work.
- Keep the shipping and receiving area organized and clean to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred but not necessary ).
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
