Our client, in the Paint & Coatings Industry, is seeking a QC Lab Technician to join their team. As a QC Lab Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting manufacturing and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: QC Lab Technician
Location: Brampton, ON
Pay Range: $20.00–$21.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
What's the Job?
- Perform quality testing on paint and coating production batches to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Test and evaluate incoming raw materials, pigments, resins, and finished products.
- Recommend production batch adjustments based on laboratory test results.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory testing equipment.
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and support shipping documentation.
What's Needed?
- College Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Coatings Technology, or a related field.
- Quality Control Laboratory experience in the Paint & Coatings industry is required.
- Experience testing paints, coatings, pigments, resins, colorants, or related chemical products.
- Strong understanding of laboratory testing procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processes within the paint industry.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
