We are seeking an energetic, self-starter and responsible intern to fill our team's IT Desktop Support Specialist position in the coming weeks. If you are eager to keep learning and looking for growth opportunities, then this is your call!
This position will start as a flexible part-time offer, with the option of a full-time job. This is an on-site job, TAVANCA will provide the necessary resources like a MacBook Air, training, and opportunities for continuous development.
The tasks during this internship will vary, as described in the next section.
What you'll do:
Respond promptly to client requests via phone or email using our ticketing system
Follow up with clients on existing tickets
Reach out to clients to perform proactive tasks
Set up and install new hardware and software
Work closely with the existing team to accommodate client needs
Document procedures and solutions and follow up with clients to ensure full resolution
Purchase licenses
Add, remove, or update user information such as logins and passwords
You are Good at:
Self-directed and able to work without supervision
Detail oriented while managing your own time efficiently
Collaborating and reporting back to the team
Learning new technology and approaches
Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age
Entitled to work in Canada
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong networking skills
Must be enrolled or have a degree/diploma in Computer Systems Technology/ IT Operations/ Network Security or related
Plus point if you already completed any IT related certifications (f. e. CCNA, CompTIA A+), or have experience in customer service
