10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and Software Development in Test (SDET) across Banking, Insurance, and IoT domains.Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cucumber BDD, and TestNG .
Lead end-to-end automation strategy for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and E2E testing initiatives.
Implement and integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub, and Docker-based execution environments.
Develop reusable framework components, utilities, and Page Object Models to improve maintainability and test coverage.
Drive modernization initiatives by migrating legacy Selenium frameworks to Playwright-based automation solutions.
Perform API, database, and backend validation using Postman, SQL, and MySQL to ensure business process integrity.
Establish quality gates, observability, and monitoring through tools such as Datadog , enabling proactive defect detection and faster root-cause analysis.Implement visual regression testing and cross-browser validation strategies to ensure consistent user experience across releases.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and release teams to define acceptance criteria and shift quality left in the SDLC.Lead code reviews, framework governance, QA best practices, and mentor junior Quality Engineers and SDETs.
Design and build innovative QE utilities for automation acceleration, defect management, environment validation, and framework transformation.
Analyse quality metrics, test results, and production trends to continuously improve release confidence and reduce defect leakage.
Support Agile/Scrum delivery models by participating in sprint planning, estimation, refinement, execution, and release readiness activities.
Drive continuous improvement in automation maturity, release quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction through innovative quality engineering practices.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 77000 to CAD 120000 .
