We are looking to hire for Mississauga and/or Oakville area. Must have at least 2-3 years experience in the field. Must be available evenings.
Duties
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments with precision and creativity
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools, stations, and work areas to ensure a safe environment for all clients and staff
- Engage in upselling retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and increase salon revenue
- Build strong relationships through clear communication skills, ensuring clients feel valued and understood throughout their visit
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to provide innovative solutions that meet diverse client preferences
- Experience
- Proven experience as a professional hair stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse styles and techniques
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service with the ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon environment
- Skilled in retail sales with the ability to upsell products naturally while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain styling options and hair care advice
- A valid cosmetology or hairstyling license as per local regulations is essential
