Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating compelling visual content that reflects Salisbury's premium brand experience across print, digital, web, and in-store environments.
This role combines graphic design, photography, and content creation to bring campaigns, promotions, products, and customer experiences to life. The successful candidate will have experience working with premium consumer brands and understand how to create polished, aspirational visuals that strengthen brand perception and customer engagement.

Design engaging marketing materials for print and digital channels, including signage, social media graphics, advertisements, email campaigns, in-store displays, and website visuals.

Translate marketing initiatives, promotions, and business objectives into clear, effective visual concepts that align with Salisbury's brand standards and visual identity.

Help shape and evolve Salisbury's premium brand experience through thoughtful design, photography, and visual storytelling.

Create content that reflects the quality, expertise, and hospitality associated with a premium retail and landscaping brand.
Photography & Content Creation

Capture and edit high-quality photography of products, plants, retail displays, events, projects, and seasonal experiences for use across marketing channels.

Plan and execute photo shoots that support marketing campaigns, social media, website content, and advertising initiatives.

Maintain and organize Salisbury's digital photography library and creative assets.
Project Management & Collaboration

Prepare production-ready files for print vendors, signage suppliers, and digital platforms.

Manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously, prioritizing work based on business needs and seasonal deadlines.

Maintain organized file structures for design assets, templates, photography, and digital content.

Collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, retail leadership, and external partners to ensure consistent visual storytelling across all customer touchpoints.
Skills & Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.

2–4+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably supporting retail, lifestyle, hospitality, home and garden, or other premium consumer brands.

Portfolio showcasing both graphic design and photography work.
Design & Creative Expertise

Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom.

Experience designing for both print and digital formats, including signage, advertising, social media, email marketing, and website content.

Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.

Demonstrated ability to elevate visual standards while maintaining a cohesive brand identity and customer experience.

Professional photography experience, including composition, lighting, photo editing, and asset management.
Project Management & Collaboration

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills with the ability to take direction, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute creative ideas.

Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Asana and Microsoft Teams
