Selah Core Wellness is a brand new, modern multidisciplinary clinic located on the West Broadway in Vancouver. We are currently preparing to open our doors and are excited to build our founding team of healthcare professionals. This role (RMT) requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of medical terminology to ensure effective treatment planning and client education. The ideal candidate is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and develop personalized treatment plans based on their health history and goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records following confidentiality standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices to enhance their recovery process.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and practice productivity.
- Uphold professional standards of ethics, confidentiality, and customer service at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and human anatomy.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
- Effective communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and addressing client concerns clearly.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping clients improve their health and well-being.
- Prior experience in massage therapy or related healthcare fields is preferred but not required; ongoing training will be provided as needed.
Pay: $100.00-$140.00 per hour
