Kingston Fleet & Auto Service is looking for a Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician or 3rd Year 310T Apprentice to join our team in Kingston. Located in Kingston's west-end, Kingston Fleet & Auto has an awesome facility, great work environment and a fantastic group of coworkers.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys troubleshooting, repairing midsize equipment, and wants a stable, full-time position with a busy local shop.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our team, you will work primarily on midsize trucks and buses, performing a variety of maintenance, diagnostic and repair work, including:
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues
- Engine, drivetrain, steering and suspension repairs
- Brake system inspection and repairs
- Air Conditioning repairs and maintenance
- Inspections and general fleet maintenance
- Identifying required repairs and communicating findings
- Completing repairs safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- A Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician OR registered 3rd Year 310T Apprentice
- Experienced working with midsize trucks, buses or other heavy-duty vehicles
- Comfortable diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, organized and safety-conscious
- Someone who takes pride in doing quality work
- Able to maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Ozon Depletion Card (ODC) would be an asset
A valid driver's license is required.
