As a fast-growing, design-driven organization, marketing plays an essential role in highlighting technical expertise and reinforcing global brand visibility. In support of this continued growth, they are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the Sales and Marketing team and contribute to the execution of campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.
JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator supports the Sales and Marketing teams in the execution of day-to-day activities that promote the company’s products and services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their marketing career through hands-on involvement in campaigns, events, communications, and content coordination within a global organization.
Working closely with internal teams, the incumbent contributes to a variety of initiatives across marketing support, research, communications, and event coordination, while helping ensure smooth and efficient departmental operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports Sales and Marketing teams with day-to-day coordination of projects and initiatives.
- Assists in preparing emails, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Schedules meetings, prepares agendas, and takes meeting notes.
- Conducts basic research to identify leads, customer contacts, and market opportunities.
- Supports coordination of trade shows, networking events, and internal company events.
- Updates and organizes marketing materials, including brochures, promotional items, and digital content.
- Assists with partner communications for joint marketing activities.
- Gathers and organizes customer testimonials and feedback for marketing use.
- Monitors competitor activity and supports basic reporting and summaries.
- Checks website performance and reports any issues.
- Supports internal communications, including email signatures, branding updates, and promotional updates.
- Coordinates corporate gifting and mailing activities, including year-end initiatives.
- Provides general administrative and marketing support as required by the Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education (college or university) is an asset, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience aligned with the role’s responsibilities, with the ability to effectively support related tasks and deliverables.
- Strong keyboarding and data entry skills (may be assessed internally).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems is considered an asset.
- Ability to quickly learn company products, services, and capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision while staying accountable and proactive.
- Comfortable following directions and executing tasks in a structured, detail-oriented manner.
- Demonstrates strong professionalism, including reliability, discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
