Administrative Assistant
Mature individual required for administrative support and to perform a variety of general accounting tasks in a fast paced working environment at our Mississauga office.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Receptionist duties – Greet, assist and/or direct clients and visitors
- Receive, direct and relay telephone and fax messages, Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
- Process mail and courier
- Maintain the current filing system for project related items
- Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and social events
- Assign and track project numbers. Setting up related file folders.
- Enter data, such as employee time entries into system using defined Quick Books
- Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, if required.
- Recommend actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Investigate questionable data.
- Other administrative duties as required.
Education and Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Quickbooks experience an asset
- Driver’s license an asset
- Verbal and written communication skills a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
- Administrative experience an asset
