Overview
We are seeking a full-time Concrete Foreman to lead and manage all aspects of our concrete operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the company on all concrete-related work.
The ideal candidate will oversee a small crew of 3–4 team members and take full responsibility for projects from inception through completion. This includes coordinating daily tasks, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key responsibilities include scheduling materials, coordinating concrete deliveries, arranging inspections, and effectively managing crew productivity on-site. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.
Overnight travel is required for this position.
Prior experience in construction or concrete work is necessary. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic construction environment while contributing to high-quality project completion. Applicant should be fluent with drawings (rebar, vertical walls, flatwork)
Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including setting forms, reinforcing steel, and other foundational tasks
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to project specifications
- Operate basic tools and equipment related to concrete work safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper curing and finishing of concrete surfaces to meet quality standards
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
- Support supervisors in monitoring project progress and adhering to blueprints and schematics
Skills
- Firm understanding of blueprint reading and schematics related to construction projects
- Experience supervising or coordinating small teams on-site is advantageous
- Knowledge of construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control processes is beneficial
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
