Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maximizing profitability.
Duties:
- Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order merchandise as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Manage financial transactions and oversee cash handling procedures
- Contribute to creating a positive working environment for the team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Knowledge of budgeting, payroll, and sales management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with store management procedures and cashiering
