Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Appliance Repair Technician to join our service team. Duties
- Conduct thorough diagnostics on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components such as motors, compressors, electrical wiring, and control boards.
- Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to accurately identify issues and implement solutions.
- Assemble appliances or replace parts efficiently to restore appliance functionality.
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used for each job.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and addressing customer questions professionally.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with manufacturer specifications and local regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in appliance repair with a strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques related to household appliances.
- Basic familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- Mechanical knowledge including assembly/disassembly of appliances.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for service appointments.
